Making A Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept card payment or payment by Paypal.

We accept most major cards (with the exception of American Express). We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Backordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

The above delivery rates apply to deliverys Monday - Friday and a time can not be specified for Delivery. You will however receive a tracking email for your delivery if the item is send with our courier, which enables you to get an estimated time for delivery on the delivery day. If you wish to have your delivery on a specific day please put this in the notes on your order. Items will require a signature and can not be left at the delivery address if no one is available to accept the delivery. Any notes regarding leaving items will be ignored.

Delivery Information

Delivery charges above are for UK Main Land deliveries only. This does not include Ireland (Republic or Norther Ireland), Highlands of Scotland or Islands of the UK. Please contact Terracotta Spice for a quotation for delivery outside Main Land UK. If you are unsure if your area will be covered by standard postage please contact Terracotta Spice before placing your order.

Orders to Ireland & Isles of the UK will be charged at £16.95 per parcel.

Delivery Schedule

Orders are dispatched using a 24 or 48 hour courier service dependant on postal area. Items are dispatched within 2 working days of receipt of payment. Please allow 7-10 working days for delivery of Teak, Mango & Sheersham Wood Furniture.

Back Orders

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 20% VAT is included in the sale price you pay.

Credit Card Security

When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Returns Policy

If you wish to return an item please contact Terracotta Spice via email at info@homewareshop.co.uk

Any damaged items need to be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
All items are checked before dispatch so if you are in any doubt that your item has been damaged during delivery please advise your courier of this and sign for the item as damaged. With regards to damaged items a photo of the damage will be required and either a replacement will be given or a full refund if preferred. Items need to be returned within 7 days of delivery.

With regards to unwanted items on return of the item a refund or exchange will be given, however postage costs will not be refunded & return postage is not free of charge. Items need to be returned within 7 days of delivery, and must be unused.
